About Emily

Digital Marketing

I started my career with a six-week temporary job as a Lead Generator at a B2B Financial Credit Bureau. However, I ended up staying for almost three years. I had the opportunity to learn marketing, project management, software product releases, collateral design, and so much more.

Later, I transitioned into a marketing position at a company that provided unlimited snacks, swanky swag, and all the Apple devices. I relished working there as I was involved in agile marketing, trade shows, press releases, and other captivating projects.

During my time at a boutique SEO company, I gained expertise in crafting website content and performing technical audits for clients.

My start-up rodeo ends here.

The world was changing, and I needed to change with it. I returned to my college roots and focused on the greater good. I joined a human service organization about six months before they rebranded (from a 40-year-old brand mark!). Pulling from my experience, I became the project manager and brand steward. Learning how to produce content in a dozen languages was challenging, and learning how to create equitable content was crucial. When COVID hit, we took out billboards, flyered, created WhatsApp campaigns and social media, and forged partnerships and relationships.

Currently, I focus on my day job, facilitating professional development, and my side passion, telling stories at marinandbrae.com

Outside of the office.

I returned to Mohawk Valley a few years ago to raise my family. Currently, I live in Marcy with my husband and two sons.

I’m a maker by nature and dabble in many activities, I sew, quilt, crochet, paint, can Cricut like a wizard, garden, practice yoga, and enjoy the community that I live in.
